We've had really nice weather lately, so I spent a good deal of time outside, barbeques and all that.
But that's pretty much finished by the looks of it, the weather seems to have gone back to normal.
Time to get back to work.

So I got my new PC a few days ago, and it's pretty awesome so far.
Went with a 4 core i5 at 3.5Ghz, 16GB of RAM, and a solid state drive.
The thing boots up in like 20 seconds and opens big files and applications incredibly quickly. I am pleased.
Only problem is that the old version of Flash (CS3) I'm using can't take full advantage of the hardware, so that's a bit crappy, but it still runs much better than on my previous PC. Hasn't crashed or experienced serious slowdown yet. And at least I can run other big applications like Photoshop in the background without any problems now.
Also I've got windows 7 now, after using XP for like 7 years.
It's really not that much different besides the interface... if anyone knows any really useful things that Windows 7 can do and XP couldn't, I'd like to hear about that.
I've started writing some windows shell scripts as well. Got scripts for starting up all my applications and backing up my files, very useful. I probably should have got round to doing that earlier.
I've been having some problems with my internet connection though!
I was planning to use the wireless card from my old PC, but it turns out it's just too old (10 years I think...) and Windows 7 doesn't have any drivers for it, so that didn't work out.
So then my dad gives me a wireless fob thing.
It works for a few days and then dies, turns out it was already broken when my dad gave it to me. What a nice guy.
So I was gonna get a new card off Amazon or something, hoping for next day delivery, but nooooo. The Queen is having some sort of celebration so everyone's on holiday and most shops are closed. Woop.
I'm now using my phone as a wireless adapter, we'll see how that turns out.

I've also been playing Mario Kart 7 a lot, it's pretty fun but I don't have much to say about it; it's a lot like the Wii version.
Rainbow Road is especially awesome this time though.

Anyyyyway, I'm working on Epic Battle Fantasy 4 full time now, so if you see anyone still asking about it you have my permission to harass them off my page.
Sorry, man, but shut up.
My computer crashed and I gut stuck with MILLENIUM EDITION.
Do you know what you can do with Millenium Edition?
Well here's a list:
....
And that's everything you can do.
In response to your signature there...
"If I want security, I'll become an Undertaker. There's big business in dead people."
"If I want order, I'll round up a few Reapers. Nothing promotes order like galaxy-wide omnicide."
"Freedom may be the right of all sentient beings, but so's stepping in bullshit."
Also I still have Windows XP on me lol. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one left with a crappy XP computer. It's not that crappy. But I think my PC wouldn't be able to run most new games, mostly like old games maybe. Like once my dad bought me Sonic Generations from Ebay. Installed it via Steam, and guess what? It said "No graphics adapter found" meaning my PC/graphics card couldn't handle that game. Joy. (Not really, I wanted to rip apart my computer that day
Atleast my PC can handle some awesome games like Minecraft & Team Fortress 2, But on Minecraft I play with fancy graphics off, & when I download like big maps I sometimes have to turn most things off & to low. & on TF2 it mostly lags on multiplayer servers. But I kinda like more playing it offline sometimes.
I'm running Vista myself. And, surprisingly, it's being quite cooperative regarding my gaming habits.
As for old hardware... it doesn't get much older than a 3.5" Floppy drive, and I have one of those installed.
As for the "No Graphics adapter found." error, it's also quite possible your GFX card is too advanced for the game. I had that happen when I went to install the original Red Alert (for Win95) on my PC.
Even though it sounds like Sonic Generations is definitely more recent.
(Nothing I know pre-2000 would even touch Steam>)
