Since I've graduated I've actually had enough free time to go out, or rather I just have to so I don't become a hermit.
Had a Minecraft LAN party with 4 other buddies and some spectators, it was actually amazing.
The goal was to beat the Ender Dragon without cheating, and we got pretty close. All we had left to do was stock up on arrows and ender eyes, but it was getting late, so we just cheated to get those. We were gutted to find that the stronghold was under the ocean, so it gave us a bit of trouble getting in.
When we finally got to the Ender Dragon, I was defeated really quickly and missed most of the fight. ):
That's probably what I get for drinking and having a female spectator next to me. (seriously legit excuses)
The two guys who ended up beating the dragon actually had the least Minecraft experience.
All the diamond hunting and quests through the Nether were done legit, and it was well challenging. When we first went into the Nether we were confident that our diamond weapons would give us an easy time. We ended up splitting up right away and quickly got slaughtered, with maybe two survivors going around scavenging our items. Fighting the blazes at the Nether fortress was terrifying.
Other higlights include:
-People leaving the house doors open eventually let some creepers in, and all of our storage chests were blown up.
-I tamed a bunch of wolves and one of my friends accidentally attacked one, and it wouldn't stop trying to kill him after that. So we had to put it down.
-I wasted all of our iron on a golem which got trapped in our basement and did nothing.
-I made a lot of dynamite, piston and dispenser traps, and and just left them lying around to see if anyone would fall for them. They did. Most of my buddies didn't know about the kind of machines you can build.
-We eventually started starving because we killed off all the animals and didn't bother to maintain our farming effort.
-"I'm building a tree house" "x hit the ground too hard."
Since I don't have a laptop, I took my whole new desktop with me, which turned out pretty well, except that when I brought it back home it didn't boot up and I almost had a heart attack. Looks like one of the HDD cables just got loose.
Anyway, next we're gonna have a Terraria party, which should also be pretty awesome.
Besides gaming I've also been going along to a lot of things I haven't done before or recently. I've already mentioned the hillwalking earlier, but I've also tried clubbing, smoking weed, furniture shopping, going to the cinema and other stuff.
Haven't been to the cinema in a very long time, and now I remember why. The tickets are expensive, there's too much commercials, it's too warm, you'll have a hard time getting tickets unless you preorder, you can't pause the film, you have to ration your snacks, etc... So besides for some really big films, I doubt I'll be going through all that again.
The furniture shopping I'm doing cause I've got a new bedroom/office now, and I need a new bed, carpet, curtains, fridge, and some other stuff. It's mindblowing how many choices shops have for that stuff. D:
I want to live in Ikea.
Weed I don't like. Mainly because I don't like smoking, but also because I didn't seem to get much of an effect out of it.
My buddies who do weed regularly aren't exactly very productive in their free time either (bunch of college drop-outs), so I've not got a great opinion of it.
I'll stick to alcohol and caffeine.
Clubbing I didn't like very much, but I'm sure it's decent if you're intoxicated enough and go somewhere with good music. Maybe.
Anyway, that is all. I just felt I should document that stuff.

As for cinemas in general, i just hate them now because
1: My family and friends always want me to watch Twilight grade screens with them.
2: It's economically corupt. *No brainer here*
3: Adolescents. (No offense bro)
Before anyone starts typing, no i'm not what you call an Asocialist or Nihilist incase you start to wonder...
And one last thing, i don't drink alchohol, do drugs, think that Mincraft is the most overrated thing on the interwebz, and to a certain degree i'm not permitted to have mutual relationships with anyone.
I am a big fan of Minecraft as well as you can tell from my pixelated profile image.
I enjoyed reading this, and thank god you didn't like the weed. Smoking can lead to very bad health problems. Anyways, thank you for documenting this stuff.
Though...the weed part...
And Skitzo, weed isn't addictive. so it's incredibly easy to never do it again, if that's what you want.
